About Me


Satu-Minna Suorajärvi (b. 1967) is a Helsinki-based sculptor who uniquely bridges traditional sculpting techniques with digital technology. Since graduating with an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, her practice has focused on expanding the language of sculpture through 3D computer software, algorithmic modeling, and parametric design.

The Passage sculpture is installed to Pieksämäki

My Passage sculpture was unveiled during the opening of the Christmas street at Pieksämäki railway station. 
A big thank you to the local entrepreneurs, especially to Erkki and Petri Lappi from RST-Lapit oy, Lipa Betoni oy and Janster oy.
