Satu-Minna Suorajärvi (b. 1967) is a Helsinki-based sculptor who uniquely bridges traditional sculpting techniques with digital technology. Since graduating with an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, her practice has focused on expanding the language of sculpture through 3D computer software, algorithmic modeling, and parametric design.

My 3D-printing experience is growing and I try printing very thin objects of PLA. Sticking to the heated bed is still somewhat problematic. I am planning to 3D-print quite a big object and gluing parts together.
